1) What advice would you give a buyer trying to purchase a home?
First -- get prequalified. You do not want to fall in love with a home and not qualify for it. Make sure you can afford it. Understand your finances.
2) What advice would you give a seller trying to sell their home?
Talk to an agent prior to making changes or upgrades in preparation for going on the market. There may be things that you can change or upgrade that you did not know about and you may make changes or upgrades that will bring no value to your sale. So it is always best to ask a professional.
3) What types of clients have you worked with?
First time and last time buyers. First time and last time sellers, developers, and investors.
4) Describe a recent transaction you are fond of. How did it go?
Clients were not prepared, willing, or able to go on the market at the time that the market was hot. He was a widower. I had a buyer for this property who did not want to compete against other buyers and I was able to introduce them. Both the seller and the buyer were able to get what they both wanted. It was great for both sides.
5) How did you get started in Real Estate?
Bruce and Tanya started in Northern Virginia's real estate by focusing on the emotional journey of buying and selling homes. Each transaction was different and each client had specific needs. As their business grew, they formed a team of office staff and agents to support them in their goals of meeting clients' needs. After over 25 years in business, Bruce and Tanya keep supporting their clients through one of the biggest life events they'll experience!
6) Do you have any special education or training that will benefit your clients?
40+ years in business. Trade background, understand and manage repairs, renovations, and upgrades. Was a corporate negotiator for 10 years. Well versed in the art of negotiating. Going on 25 years experience in real estate.
