He helped us buy our first home in Burke, VA at a reasonable price during the COVID pandemic and worked through all of the associated difficulties with that. He had multiple plans and techniques he used to make us the most competitive buyers possible when making an offer. Jack also truly listened to us for what was important for our needs - he did not immediately point us at the most expensive homes or easiest ones to get, but rather prioritized his time and efforts to show us places that met our stated requirements every time. He stayed in touch with us and then was our go-to choice for selling in 2024. He met with us early and often to discuss plans for how to sell, when to sell, and what we needed to change about the house. ZillowVERIFIED My wife and I currently live in Europe and were "window shopping" for a better part of a year prior to choosing Jack as our realtor. Jack and his team prepared and educated us on what to expect throughout the process ultimately landing us a home we are both excited and proud to own. COVID limited our ability to fly to and from the US, and European quarantine requirements made it unreasonable to do so with existing commitments. This meant if we bought a house while abroad, everything had to be achieved remotely and Jack and his team were up to the task. As houses of interest came on the market, Jack flagged items about the house/location he knew would bother us based on our past discussions. This not only saved time, but also avoided a potentially regretful purchase. A property came on market that we never expected to be in our budget. Jack set up a virtual walk through answering our questions while keeping a keen eye on items that would need immediate attention and considering all of our OCD quirks. This house ended up selling higher than we were willing to go and Jack never pushed us to go beyond what we felt was appropriate. His team ran comps for us to confirm we weren't being unreasonable and making the right choice - it was just a very unique and sought-after property during the peak of a sellers market in 2020.A newly listed property drew significant interest yielding 50+ viewings in the first 48 hours and 14 offers. Jack setup a viewing the first day on the market and worked with us to submit an offer within hours of the walk through. We werent alone, and because of the popularity and demand, the owner set a deadline for offers. Not only did we win, but we weren't the highest offer. Jack's expertise and advice made our offer compelling enough the owner accepted a lower offer - $40k lower. There's no doubt that Jack and his team are the reason we won our new home. From pre-approval, offer submissions, appraisal, financing, title transfer, and closing, Jacks and his team set up everything so we could purchase the home completely from Europe. We can't ask for more than that and reading other reviews... it's a pattern and one he should be proud of.

Having met over a dozen other realtors during out search, he was certainly a breath of fresh air. A friendly, genuine, low-pressure guy who understood what we wanted and offered to show us areas on our wish-list, while also offering to show a range of homes and neighborhoods we didnt know about and/or hadnt considered. And our great first-impression lasted through the our house search to the ultimate purchase of our first home. Jack was always available for a phone call or to take us out for showings, and was remarkably efficient in showing us as many houses as we wanted to see at times convenient to us. He showed us a variety of homes and areas to help educate us on what was available in our price range, the pros/cons of certain neighborhoods, and the balance of commute, home size, etc. And while were sure most realtors can do that, Jack excels at keeping the whole process from becoming overwhelming. He also has great insight into what type of work a home may or may not need, ranging from minor remodeling to deal breakers that make a home a bad investment. And when it came time to make an offer on a home we loved, Jacks referrals to a finance company, home inspector, home insurance broker, etc. were all great. Most realtors have these connections, and while Jack never pushed us to his preferred options, his folks all seemed to be great at their respective jobs, and all seemed to have the same low-pressure, patient, helpful attitude that Jack demonstrated throughout. They also happened to be relatively good deals (based upon some shopping around we did). It really simplified things and gave us peace of mind that these other key service providers/companies were easy to work with, priced well, and had good relationships with our realtor to keep the process moving efficiently. All in all, we cant recommend Jack enough. For us first-time home buyers, he was exactly what we wanted, and now that were in our new home, we cant thank him enough. Were only disappointed that Jack isnt forced to hang out with us anymore.
