She was always professional and kind in our encounters. Once we found a house we were interested in, Inessa was a wealth of advice on what a fair offer would be and what kind of timeline we were looking at. We went back and forth several times with the sellers in negotiating the price and Inessa kept us up to date along the way. Communication is definitely one of her strengths. We received a fair number of recommendations for agents within Charlottesville, but chose her specifically because of her experience and community involvement in the Fry's Spring Neighborhood, where we had rented for several years before deciding to buy a house in the neighborhood. While we more or less knew what we were looking for and where, Inessa helped guide the process incredibly quickly and easily. It took only two months to go from seeing the house for the first time to closing with the bank. She's very knowledgeable of the system, and we always knew what we had to do and when with regard to scheduling inspections, buying homeowners insurance, etc. Since she has a lot of experience in the Charlottesville area, she is able to recommend good contractors for any inspections or repairs that need to be done on the property. This was especially critical in the purchase of our house, since we had to negotiate with the sellers regarding a roof replacement and other repairs. Given the length of time the house had been on the market and the time of year (November-December 2015), I sensed that the homeowners were growing reluctant during the process and might decide to wait until spring to sell at a higher price (we bought the house for more than $20,000 under the initial list price), but Inessa was able to keep the sale on track despite the repairs that needed to be done. I highly recommend her for buying or selling properties in Charlottesville.

ZillowVERIFIEDFor over a year, Inessa tirelessly helped us look for a new home in Charlottesville. She patiently with met us week after week, guiding us we walked through the house after house. She quickly figured out what we were looking for -- and she coached my partner and I as we harmonized our competing requirements. She helped us narrow our search. She helped us place an offer that we later withdrew (after a bad inspection). When we finally found our new house, Inessa outdid herself helping us in the transition. It was late fall then and not a promising time to sell, but she gave us great advice on how to list our house, how to stage it, and she had it beautifully photographed. She soon ran a very successful open house that resulted in competing offers. As our buying agent for the new house, she distinguished herself in negotiations and proved especially clever as we coordinated the closings and dealt with our inspectors. At our lawyer's office during closing, she caught a mistake in the paperwork! We moved weeks ago and only just today she dropped off a package that had been mistakenly delivered to our old house while we were away. If thats not gold-star, detail-oriented customer service, I dont know anything about sales. She's top, above and beyond: like they said about James Brown, mutatis mutandis, shes the Hardest Working Woman in Real Estate. Clever and funny, too. She's knows her Pushkin.
