I have been working in real estate since 1986. I graduated college in 1984 with a degree in marketing and had planned to work for a large company and enjoy the stability of what comes with that. In two short years, I realized I was bored, unchallenged, and was not in control of my own destiny. I knew how to work hard, I felt I had "a way" with people and thought I would try my hand at real estate. I grew up with two parents who bought and sold houses all the time, so...I knew I already had a strong interest in the business. Within a few months, I knew I was on my way...and approaching 30 years later, I have not had a day of boredom, I am never without a unique challenge, and I am VERY happy to say that "I still have a way with people!"
