I loved working with Robbie. He had strong knowledge of the whole Houston area, from what I could tell. Gave us things to look out for on houses we went to see, and explained each step of this new process to us in a way that we could understand. Awful experience. We listed our home with Keller Williams Sugarland, Tx, with the broker, Chad St Jean and Agent Robbie Jansky. On the day of closing, our agent Robbie Jansky went to the empty house and before leaving used the restroom in the house. He admitted to being the only one in the house that day in his own words aEURoeI used the restroom before locking up and leaving today, and it seems for some reason that may have caused or contributed to the leakaEUR?. The toilet overflowed and flooded the house, the new owners arrived after closing to find water running out of the bricks and garage. I contacted our agent who informed us to read our contract and that we were responsible for the damage and would need to have repairs made, he refused to take any responsibility saying use of the restroom was normal home use. He further stated he was hired to sell the house and that is what he did. The agent very sarcastic during this whole incident. We were left dealing with the new buyers agent, dealing with contractors etc to get the home fixed and paying for contractors. Calls and emails to the broker, Chad St Jean, went unanswered except for one email saying he was aware of the incident. There are a lot of quality, professional brokers and agents out there so I would look very hard at who you hire and keep our experience in mind.
