ZillowVERIFIED?? Buyer Beware ?? We bought our house on 09/30/2022, and this was our first time buying a home. When we met this realtor, he was extremely friendly and reassuring. We were very clear with him that we were first-time buyers, unfamiliar with the area, and needed guidance. As two women buying a home for the first time, we trusted him when he said he would help and look out for us. Unfortunately, that trust was misplaced. Because we didnt know the neighborhoods or the buying process, we relied on his advice. He showed us a house in an area that is widely considered a high-crime / red-light area, something we only discovered after all the paperwork was signed. Since moving in, we have experienced multiple car break-ins and car theft attempts. This is not a one-time incidentaEUR"its a recurring problem in this area. Had we been properly informed or guided, we would never have purchased in this location. I didnt want to write a review, but things have continued to get worse. I'm sharing this so othersaEUR"especially first-time buyersaEUR"do not blindly rely on him. Please do your own research, learn the neighborhood, and ask hard questions before signing anything. Being friendly is not the same as being honest or responsible.

We found out we had to move due to company relocation and Ken was not only knowledgeable about our housing market but also the relocation aspects and what we needed to do. He walked us through every step and made sure to answer all of our questions. When we finally listed the house it was a smooth and easy process. He talked us through all the offers, gave honest feedback on each, but always made it clear that it was our decision. He even went as far as to contact the relocation agency we were using to make sure all aspects of the contract we chose were within policy. Could not have asked for a better agent. Relocation is always tough but Ken made sure that we never had a worry about selling the house from introduction through closing.

He was very knowledgeable about the area, especially concerning potential flood risks. He also brings an extra talent in understanding building construction which helped a lot to spot potential problems with houses that most people missed. This talent allowed us to trust him enough to do only a virtual walkthrough of our new house before we put in an offer. I knew he would make us aware of any issues. ZillowVERIFIED I wasn't looking for a realtor at first. I never really had good experiences with realtors, and didn't want to share the commission (as a lawyer I can get the commission on the sale). Anyway, while house hunting I came across Ken. I immediately liked him. Honest, succinct, straightforward, and immensely knowledgeable about this business, Ken was perfect. Ken's not pushy. He's not arrogant. But he is not shy about telling you his opinion and giving you direction, take it or leave it. Eventually, my home sold for the exact amount Ken listed it at--he literally hit the nail on the head. If you're like me and skeptical--put all that aside. Hire Ken. I did. Best decision I've made in a long time.

ZillowVERIFIED In all my years of working with agents in real estate, no one surpasses Ken Jones! He treats you like his family and will do everything in his power to get the deal done. I must have sent Ken at minimum 20 listings, and he would always be transparent and honest with his feedback, and would not hesitate to reject a home based upon his expert knowledge and experience. Until he is fully content with all the finishings, layout and location of the home, Ken will not try and persuade you into an investment. This is the real star quality that Ken has to offer, that surpasses any other realtor you will come by. Not to mention, we initially spoke with Ken in September of 2020 and not once did he pester my husband and I with listings to try and make a sale. He honestly admitted that he values everyone's time and does not aim to push listings to make a sale. Ken is respectful, trustworthy, professional, and will get the best job done for you. My husband and I have recommend Ken to everyone we know and we will continue to vouch for him because he is brilliant in what he does. You will be hard pressed to find a better Realtor!

He was not only knowledgeable but also has excellent people skills, he knows what the client wants and needs. In addition he worked so well with our mortgage broker. He has many great attributes but just to name a few: he is reliable, flexible, creative, clever, intuitive. He knows his business and knows people that can be of help in terms of making repairs, etc. He went the extra mile not once but many times. For example, he helped us get rid of a bulky file cabinet that was left in the house. Ken carried it out and disposed of it. He accompanied my wife to the municipal house to get the water system connected, he surprised us with Christmas lights outside the new house at the end. I cant thank him enough for all his support.

Ken was available whenever I needed any advice in regards to discussing the sale, with a 13 hour time zone difference. Not only is he just a nice guy, responsible, reliable, and on top of things, which are basic expectations of any good realtor, but also he is not aggressive (with us, who he is representing), honest in his advice even if it may not help him close the sale, is well-connected and clearly cares about the community, keeps his pulse on the current market trends, and constantly goes above and beyond the call of duty to make sure we are well taken care of and that all of our concerns are addressed. Half a year later when we found out we would have to relocate for work, we hired Ken again to help sell our home and he was wonderful at anticipating and taking care of problems, rigorously supervising contractors on our behalf to make sure our home looked at its best, and handling the showing and selling of our house after we moved away so we didn't have to worry about anything as we were busy transitioning. He also took the initiative to hire a professional photographer to take pictures to make the house more attractive to potential buyers. We have since asked him to serve as the property manager for our investment property and he has done an equally fantastic job at finding good tenants and taking care of our tenants so we don't have to. We just learn of most problems after he has already resolved them. For the peace of mind and sincere, quality service he provides, we would highly recommend Ken Jones without any reservations.

Before choosing a real estate agent, I asked for recommendations of a realtor that could help and Ken came highly recommended. I was concerned that my house would be tough to sell in the current market and I had so much riding on it. Ken made the process incredibly easy and took extra steps that many other Realtors don't (but should), like having having professional photographs taken and a 3D virtual tour made.
