Keep it simple. Declutter your home. Always have it show ready. Freshen up your kitchen & Baths. Have your HVAC inspected to make sure it is in proper working order. Aside from researching to find the best agent in your area, or speaking with several before you make a final decision… here simple, inexpensive things to do as a seller from my experience and fastest results of getting a house once listed quickly into contract are:
1) Curb appeal- exterior of home being in good condition , i.e clean siding & or the exterior of the home being power washed, clean windows inside and out, and if applicable a well cared for lawn and landscaping
2) decluttering – this only allows the buyers to see themselves in the home, and not a bunch of knickknacks and small things that distract their attention while looking… Added bonus is by placing the things you don’t necessarily use every day and big bins and storing away, only speeds up the packing and moving process for Sellers
3) Hire a residential or commercial cleaning company to come in and do a full deep clean on your house prior to showings
