How do I figure out how much I can really spend on a house? I got pre-approved for an amount that seems like way too much money. I can put 20% towards a down payment. And I am afraid that if I spend the pre-approved amount that I won't be able to make my monthly payments. So, how do I figure out home much I can really spend on a house?

Property shows long time on mls but it was under contract for most of the time.

The property went under contract 3 times. The second and Thursday time it was under contact for more than 45 days . Listing now shows 132 day on market but technically was under contract most of the time. Should I relist ?

Can I even sell a rental with an unpermitted bedroom if I'm underwater on it?

I converted part of my living room into a 5th bedroom and added two bathrooms myself, but the final inspection never got signed off because I patched the drywall before they could check the screw pattern. Ive been renting out every room while living in a shed out back with no bathroom, and every agent I talk to just tells me to wait. I owe more than the market will probably give me now. What are my actual options here?

Any recourse when a listing got the bedroom count and electrical wrong?

The house Im under contract on was listed as a 4 bedroom with 200 amp service, but its actually only a legal 3 bedroom with 100 amp electrical and the seller wont budge on covering the fix. Im past my contingencies now so is there anything I can actually do about the listing being wrong?

I live at 307 French St, Peshtigo WI 54157 and would like to know how old is this building is.. could it have asbestos? It’s very dusty and doesn’t seem healthy to live here
