Can I do a pocket listing?
If we list our home as a pocket listing, will it then now show on some websites? We've been reading about Zillow not showing homes that were privately listed. So, if I do a pocket listing will Zillow not show it? Are other companies doing this?
We wanted to test the waters on our house and start with a pocket listing. We know there's a range of values for our house and we want to start with the high end, so we thought a pocket listing would be a good test of interest. Real estate termination fee?
Should our real estate agent have informed us if we terminated the contract as sellers there was a clause that they would still receive 5% commission ? Our agent never told us if we terminated the contract we would owe him the 5% when we signed the listing agreement. We wanted to switch agents but we didn’t realize this was written in the contract.

Requiring a home seller to sign a buyer-broker AAR?
My potential Selling Agent wants me to not only sign the listing agreement exclusive right to sell which is understandable but also a buyer-broker exclusive Employment Agreement for 7 mo. is this even ethical?
