Why isn't my house selling even with two deals falling through?
My house has been on the market since spring and weve already had two buyers back out, the last one just today so Im kinda raw about it. Its got a new roof, new windows, a new foundation, and new electrical with EV charging, plus good schools and no blackout risk. Can an agent tell me whats actually scaring buyers off?

Is there any way to borrow against my rental's equity with bad credit?
I ran up credit card debt after a bad investment, and my credit is now too damaged to refinance or get a HELOC. My rental is worth about $290k, I owe $105k, and it rents for twice the payment. Is there any loan that would let me tap that equity to clear the debt, or is selling my only real option?

My neighbor's messy yard is ruining my curb appeal
We work hard to have a nice yard and have regularly maintained the outside of our house. However, next door, it's a mess. Weeds are everywhere and they do the minimum to cut the grass. There's trailers and cars always parked around and general items that just sit around and looks like junk. I think this is going to hurt the sale of our house. What can we do? Can we offer to clean it up for them?

Will unpermitted basement finishing affect my sale?
Most people in my area have unpermitted basement finishes. Either they do the work themselves, or have a buddy that finishes the basments. Super common. But I'm wondering what will happen when I sell? I finished the basement, it looks amazing. It added living spaces 2 rooms and a bathroom to our house. Will these count in the listing and in square footage?

Am I stuck selling to my neighbors son because I said yes out loud?
My neighbors son asked to buy my house and I said ok to a price. We shook on it. Nothing was signed. Now a real estate agent told me I could get a lot more if I list it. Do I have to sell to him because I said yes? I know I should have talked to a real estate agent first but now I need some advice from one!
