We have a loft that could also be a bedroom. We're thinking of closing it up and making it a bedroom. Would this increase the value of our home to have the additional bedroom vs the loft?

I talked to an agent about selling my home, and I don't agree with what they said. I get that they're the professional, but it feels like they just want to significantly underprice my home so that they can sell it quickly. I get that overpricing will just turn people away, but I want to reach a happy medium between what they said and what I want. Or should I just talk to a different agent about this? We haven't signed anything yet.

If I bought my neighbors property, can I merge that plot of land with my own? Or is it better to keep it as 2 separate plots? If I tear down the house currently on the property and keep it as open land or land with a pool, would that change the property taxes that I pay?
Do you have have any listings in Reno or Sparks Nevada where I can buy 1/2 of duplex with each person having their own title?
I read a story about someone raffling off their house. They sold $1 raffle tickets, and 2 million people bought them! The home was worth $1 million. I'm wondering if this is even allowed?! It seems like a crazy idea, but maybe I'd try it if it was legal/possible.

Hello, 1 am 60 Y old looking for small house (under 300K /mortgage PM around $1500) to buy in San Jose/ Santa Clara county. What are the restrictions and affordability? Thank you
I’m the buyer, my agent says “I’m in shock” when the appraisal came back 50K lower on a manufactured home asking $290,000. Appraisal was $242,000.00. Not “Hey good news your payments might be lower…” I’m in shock at her behavior. Who actively seeks out ways to pay more each month?
