I'm hoping to move to an area that's up and coming. How do I know if the area is up and coming? Or how can I tell if it's appreciating? I fear buying in an area that seems like it's going up and then takes a turn and I'm stuck.
Why would median list price be different than home value? I'm finding different numbers for the areas that I'm searching in and I don't understand the difference. What's more accurate?

Selling my house - should I decorate for the holidays? I don't want it to be cluttered and honestly would like to pack it all away. But I also don't want to miss the holiday feels. And will it help homebuyers to come it and feel at home if it's decorated?
