We're looking at homes in Boca Raton and Fort Lauderdale and a few of the ones we like are in FEMA flood zones. Should we just pass on those automatically? My husband says it's not worth the headache. How much will it really change what we pay monthly between insurance and everything else, and what should we be doing during the inspection period to know what we're really getting into before our escrow money is at risk?
