I have been fighting with my neighbor about property lines for years. I want to sell and I don't want it to be an issue for the next people living here. HOw do I find where the official property lines are?

I'm considering selling my home but am unsure if now is the best time given current market trends. I've noticed some fluctuations in local property values, and I'm trying to determine if selling now would give me the best return.

See above. Also looking to downsize a d fins a nice tiny home.
My wife and I are about two years away from retirement and want to downsize to a smaller townhouse. Our current house is quite large and the property taxes in our New Jersey suburb are getting heavy. We aren't sure if it makes more sense to sell while we are still employed to make qualifying for our next mortgage easier, or wait until we actually retire so we don't have to move twice. Has anyone navigated this timeline recently?

I own a single-family rental home and the current lease doesn't expire for another six months. The tenants are great and pay on time, but I am ready to move on from being a landlord. Does it make more sense to wait until their lease is completely up before putting it on the market? I'm worried that trying to show the house while they live there will be too disruptive and turn off potential buyers.

We bought our first home just under a year ago, but my spouse recently received an unexpected job transfer to another state. We love the house, but keeping it as a rental from across the country sounds overwhelming. I know selling this quickly means we might lose money after closing costs and agent commissions. Are there any general rules of thumb for how long you should hold onto a property before selling to minimize the hit?

My agent wants to list my property significantly lower than what comparable homes in my neighborhood recently sold for. They claim it will spark a bidding war, but I am worried about leaving money on the table. How can we reach a consensus, or is this a sign I should find a different realtor?

I bought a fixer-upper a few years ago and have slowly been updating it. The bathrooms and living areas are done, but the kitchen still has original 1990s cabinets and older appliances. I was planning to remodel it this summer, but a job opportunity came up that might require me to move sooner. Will buyers be turned off by a partially updated home, or is it better to sell as-is and let them choose their own finishes?

My house has been listed for two weeks, and I've only heard from my agent once to confirm a showing. I feel like I'm completely in the dark regarding buyer feedback or market interest. What is a reasonable expectation for updates, and how can I establish better communication boundaries?

We bought our first house about three years ago and our family is already starting to outgrow the space. We have made some extra mortgage payments, but I am worried that after closing costs and agent commissions, we won't have enough left over for a good down payment on a larger place. Is there a general rule of thumb for how long you should stay in a property before selling? We don't want to end up losing money just because we moved too soon.
