Small details that needed to be discussed and/or changed were talked about and the photo shoot was scheduled with the best photographer Id ever seen, while Marc and Ken wrote up the commentary to be printed, along with the photos in an 10-page presentation booklet of my home. Everything they did was extremely professional. They care about every detail. They have this down pat, every step of the way. Theyve been in this business long enough to be very professional about everything they do. Every phone call was answered or returned. Rare as it may be, theyve always kept their word. The first word that comes to mind in my dealings with them is "trust"....and the second is "responsiveness". I would recommend them both in a heartbeat. Real estate transactions can be rather nerve-wracking, but my dealings with them have been stress-free. I used them to lease my childhood home in Tarzana and they presented several applicants and gave me their honest opinions on the applicants.....and I had one tenant for 6 years and the subsequent tenant who has now been in the house for 4 1/2 yrs. When it came time to sell my in-law's house in Encino, Marc and Ken were my go-to....and the house sold in about a week and a half for very, very near asking price. Ken grew up in Encino....he not only knows the area due to his real estate presence, but has true history in the area. In both my lease and my sales dealings with Marc and Ken they kept me informed every step of the way. I have always felt they were always 'above-board' and transparent. And once the transaction is done, they are there for you. If I need a referral for a handyman, a plumber, etc.....they've got the connections. They go above and beyond. The only 'stress' we had with the sale of my in-law's house was our concern about emptying the remains of the house after the estate sale and before escrow closed two days later....they told us not to worry about a thing.....they had people who would take care of it. ZillowVERIFIED We recently sold our house at the end of December 2023 with the services of Marc & Ken. We had interviewed multiple realtors prior to selecting the guys (they come as a team). The realtors we interviewed were all over the map with a couple of them trying to low-ball the listing price by $150K to make a quick and easy sale (or they just didn't understand the current market conditions). The "right" listing price for the current market conditions is critical to making the highest value sale in the shortest amount of time aEUR" can't be too low and it can't be too high. A good realtor knowledgeable about the area and the current market conditions is essential in getting this exactly right aEUR" you only get one shot at the price before listing your property. Notably, prior to contacting any agents I'd done some data mining and quantitative analysis on market conditions for our area, so I knew what the numbers were, the true value of our house and what it should list for going into the interview process. I also checked all the realtor's personal sales performance numbers for the area against the market assessment to gauge their sale to listing performance (or what it might be for our house). Then, I let the realtors tell me their positions, sales strategies, analysis methods and why (not ever sharing any of my numbers), then selecting the one that best matched/exceeded my predictions and strategy expectations. After interviewing all the agents, listening to their proposed sales plans and recommended listing prices and analysis methods behind that price aEUR" some quite compelling -- we selected Marc & Ken. They seemed to size up the situation very quickly, knew in their minds exactly what was needed to be done to get to a successful sale, were straight forward and realistic in their thoughts and expectations, and were pretty much in line with my own assessments about our property and it's condition. There were a few things we mentioned upfront that we were not willing to do, and they made a couple of minor recommendations that seemed reasonable to further the sale of the house which we agreed to. But, for the most part, we were all on the same page on the first day including listing price. Needless to say, the plan was executed exactly how the agents said it would (what a surprise! LOL). We just let them do their job per the agreed upon plan. The guys were very professional and timely and got right to business. Their process was well honed and routine. There were no surprises along the way. The house sold within 10 days of listing and above asking price. Final sale price was within 1.5% of my prediction and time on market was within 1 day of my prediction aEUR" so I'm pretty happy with the overall sales numbers. In the end, Marc and Ken were easy to work with, communication was regular, efficient and effective, and tasks were completed in a timely manner, Since we had already moved out of the area, there was the added challenge of distance that was overcome. And given that the 2023 housing market was already suppressed with low inventory and buyers on the sidelines due to high mortgage rates and few houses to choose from, Marc and Ken navigated the field nonetheless and got the sale done. They understood the area we lived, the current market conditions, and were very confident about the successful execution and completion of their plan. Their years of experience and previous sales numbers exemplified that confidence. With that said, the final results speak for themselves. Selling a home can be stressful, so we really appreciate Marc & Ken's help and support in the sale of our house and give our highest recommendation.

ZillowVERIFIED Marc Tahler started working with us in March 2021. As I am sure everyone is aware, the competition to get homes in this market was unprecedented. It took until the end of November 2021 to get a house, losing out on many along the way. And in that time, Marc was there to ensure that we never made any poor decisions out of desperation, or made any compromises we would regret. He was always patient and straightforward with us. There was never a moment where we felt we were going to overpay for a home like others we were witnessing. Out of all the people involved in the home buying process, we felt Marc was the one we could trust the most. In the end we feel we got the best house for us, and I am very thankful.

ZillowVERIFIED Wow, weve tried to sell our house 4-5 times over the past 15 years since the kids left and we retired. It was a big 11,000 square foot house and although we thought it was perfect, the market didnt. We tried real estate agents that had a presence on TV. We tried agents that represented houses to movie stars and we tried some major Beverly Hills type agents. Nothing.Then we thought wed give the local guys Marc and Ken, that we figured could never sell our house, a chance, and less than a week later the house was sold at close to full price. Sure the market is good now, but they really came through. And they helped us get moved, as we were totally unprepared for such a fast sale, or I guess, a sale at all. If you want to sell your home, Marc and Ken are the guys to do it.

ZillowVERIFIED Marc and Ken were wonderful to work with. They have an excellent photographer who made the house look even more open and brighter than it was. They had great referrals for repairs they though we should make before listing, and good recommendations on the things that wouldn't add value to the sale or that the buyer would want to change anyhow. They sold the house quickly and ironed out bumps that arose in escrow. I would use them again in a heartbeat.
