About Cody Newsom

Cody hails from Maryville where he was raised on the tried and true small town values of integrity, hard work, and service to others. After graduating he joined the United States Air Force where he served for 20 years. Residing in the local Johnson County area with his three amazing and energetic boys, during his downtime he can be found fishing with his children, hiking in the local parks, or hitting the course for a round of golf at Mules National in Warrensburg. In the 2021, Cody decided to continue serving the needs of his local community by joining the Action Realty team in Warrensburg. Cody was absolutely amazing. We were hoping to get moved before paternity leave was up and after the baby came early Cody still made sure we got it done. He went above and beyond. He answered any questions we had along the way (no matter how much of his time it took). Cody helped with things he didn't have to like recommendations on other services and what to do with our trash since our last trash pick up was a few days before our move out date. He even worked extended hours cutting in to his own family time to get us through the process. During signing our 3-year-old was bored and shyly asked Cody to play with blocks and he very kindly obliged! If you want someone that will treat you better than family Cody is your guy! He's the only realtor we will ever use!
