Can I keep my dog in the yard during a showing?

Can I keep my dog in the yard during a showing? He'd be on a leash and is a friendly dog. If I'm at work during a showing, I can't have the dog with me.

Absolutely! Just let the Realtor know in advance that your friendly pup will be in the yard on a leash during the showing.

Yes! Just have your agent make a note in the "agent showing remarks" that you have a dog. It is also not a bad idea to put a note on the door to the backyard just incase you do have a buyer that is scared of dogs.
