What We Verify
Before a review is displayed on FastExpert, our team evaluates several key factors to confirm that it represents a genuine client–agent interaction. Our goal is to provide a structured, transparent, and evidence-based verification process that enables users to choose agents confidently. We check:
Transaction confirmation
Reviewers are encouraged to leave feedback only after a completed transaction (buying or selling) has taken place.
Transaction Details
Reviews may include location, date, and the client’s role in the transaction when available.
User Identity Verification
FastExpert uses email verification and internal monitoring tools to detect duplicate or suspicious submissions.
Uniqueness
One review per transaction is permitted to ensure fairness.
How We Verify Reviews
Transaction Confirmation
Each review is intended to be linked to a real transaction because we are dedicated to agent rankings based purely on performance, and agents cannot pay to increase their rankings. The FastExpert transaction-verification process is thorough, and internal monitoring and agent confirmation steps are used when disputes arise.
User Identity Verification
Reviewers must verify their email when submitting feedback. We also reserve the right to review IP address activity and detect duplicate submissions to prevent manipulation.
Third Party Verification
Some reviews displayed on agent profiles have been imported from Zillow, one of the leading real estate platforms in the U.S. These imported reviews are marked as ‘Verified by Zillow’ and comply with Zillow’s own review verification policy.
Content Moderation
Every review is reviewed for tone, compliance, and authenticity. Our Privacy Policy notes that reviews are posted at our sole discretion, meaning moderation is both human and policy-driven.
Agent Confirmation (When Needed)
If an agent disputes a review, we initiate additional validation. This can include contacting both the reviewer and the agent to confirm the transaction and resolve inconsistencies.
What We Cannot Verify
Transparency matters. We acknowledge that:
Review Detail Limitations
Not every detail within a review can be independently verified.
Personal Perspectives
Reviews reflect the personal experiences and opinions of users.
Removal Criteria
Reviews are only removed for policy violations, confirmed fraud, or inappropriate content.
How We Keep Reviews Honest
We employ multiple systems to maintain review integrity:
Automated Detection
Tools flag duplicate, incentivized, or fake reviews.
Ongoing Validation
We periodically re-verify reviews to ensure they remain accurate and that no
suspicious activity has occurred.
Public Reporting Tools
Users can report suspicious reviews directly.
Transparency labels
Reviews may show statuses such as “Verified,” “Under Review,” or “Flagged.”
How to Report or Correct a Review
If you’d like to report or correct a review:
- Locate the review you wish to report.
- Click “Report Review.”
- Provide a description of your concern and confirm your email.
- Our moderation team reviews reports within 3 – 5 business days.
How Agent Rankings Are Calculated
We want to ensure that our users know and trust that rankings are not influenced by payments and depend on:
Verified Reviews
This ensures that rankings reflect real client experiences rather than unverified or anonymous feedback.
Closed transaction volume
Higher verified activity demonstrates experience and consistency in helping buyers and sellers.
Client satisfaction
Individual opinions vary, but consistent satisfaction carries meaningful weight.
Responsiveness and engagement
While we cannot verify every specific interaction, sustained responsiveness is a strong indicator of service quality.
