Spreading Sunshine: FastExpert Donates to Help Kids through Project Sunshine

Why Project Sunshine

When our team first learned about Project Sunshine, we were immediately inspired by their mission. Every day, they bring play and creativity into children’s hospitals and clinics — places that can otherwise feel intimidating or lonely. Their volunteers organize activities, send care packages, and host moments of fun that help kids just be kids again, even while undergoing difficult treatments.

For families navigating extended hospital stays, these simple moments of happiness can make an enormous difference. The laughter that fills a hospital room, the sparkle in a child’s eyes when they open a bright yellow “Sunny Kit,” or the relief parents feel when their child gets to smile — those are the moments that matter.

How Our Donation Helps

FastExpert’s $5,000 donation will go directly toward Project Sunshine’s “Sunny Kit” program, which provides activity kits filled with crafts, games, and supplies to children receiving medical care. Each kit is designed to spark creativity, encourage emotional expression, and give kids a sense of normalcy during treatment.

With this donation, Project Sunshine will be able to distribute hundreds of Sunny Kits to hospitals and clinics across the U.S., reaching children facing cancer treatment, chronic illnesses, and long-term hospital stays. These kits aren’t just toys — they’re tools for healing, hope, and connection.

Our contribution will also help support Project Sunshine’s volunteer-led programs, which bring caring adults into pediatric hospitals to lead play sessions, art projects, and interactive activities that help families feel supported and seen.
