She was late to the house we wanted to see. Said it was our fault. She told me I was supposed to get pre-approved for a mortgage and get back to her. This was mentioned, but not made to be a necessity to see the house. The house was a deathtrap. Mold everywhere in the basement. Crumbling foundation. Horrible fuse box. Asbestos. Not to mention the simply odd set up of the house, itself.And they wanted $85,000! I wouldn't have paid $1000 to buy the land & tear it down.Turns out, she's selling it for a friend. Tried to gloss over all the problems.
