You will not find a better Realtor in Western North Carolina than Pamela Williams. I have bought and sold several properties over the years and working with Pamela was by far the best experience ever. Pamela's working knowledge of the local area combined with her real estate expertise and excellent negotiating skills is a winning combination. She took the time to understand our needs and the things that were important to us when choosing our new home. She went above and beyond to make sure that our home selection was just the right choice for us even looking into the future as our family dynamics change. I really should have gotten the first hint when the contract was written and the commission rate was wrong. When I questioned it she told me it couldn't be fixed as it was a standard contract, but she would work on it. She gave me high hopes, saying we would have a bidding war, I should have a contract within a week of listing, and that she knew the appraisers and was sure she could get the house appraised at the "inflated" price she felt it would sell at. We had to reduce the price three times and it was on the market 4 months. After the first month she said it wasn't selling because investment buyers weren't in town yet....so why did she list it a month premature?? Whenever I called I was made to feel as if I was bothering her, as she was either busy with personal obligations (kids functions, her birthday, out of town in the keys, or on her boat) or busy with other clients. I was never made to feel like I was a priority. Initially she raved about how cute the home was before listing it, then over time suggested I remodel the kitchen, then after another month thought I should redo the siding on the house. We did end up with a buyer that inquired about a home warranty. I wasn't even contacted regarding it, except for her telling me that she told them no, "I" wouldn't consider one. Shouldn't that have been my decision to make? Once we had a buyer and a closing date I inquired three times the week before closing if we were still scheduled for the initial closing date (I had to schedule cancelling the cable, internet, electric, etc.). She informed me at 9:00pm on a Friday night that the closing was not taking place the following Tuesday. I was to have closing docs three business days prior to closing....so don't you think she knew before 9:00 pm Friday night that there would be no closing on Tuesday? I spoke with the attorney's office Monday morning and got the new closing date. She contacted me late Monday afternoon to tell me that information ~ how is it I knew before her? I've bought and sold 8 houses in my life, and this was by far and away the most lax ~ double talking realtor I've ever worked with. Buyer ~ seller ~ beware!!
She is one of the most motivated and truly dearest ppl, I have met. I am referring everybody I know to her. I became very discouraged but she continues to motivate me and work with me. She is so honest and accommodating. I pray God will bless her in her career.
Although we did not end up purchasing in the Waynesville area, Pamela spent two days showing us property, and giving us insight about the amenities in the area. She was very pleasant to work with, and I would very much recommend her for someone who may not be as familiar with the area.
I was an out of state buyer and Pamela's professionalism, expertise, skills and responsiveness made me really feel comfortable, she did everything she could to make things easier for me and at no time made me feel pressured. I was able to finally meet her in person in look over the house and I found her to be everything I thought over the phone and the house was just at she described, she was honest about everything and their were no surprises. The bottom line she was there for me from the beginning till to end and even help me after closing! I would recommend her to anyone looking to buy or sell.
Pamela was fantastic. She had such patience as we were very picky and took months to find the right property. She was always there to answer questions and guide us along the way. She is professional, knowledgeable and just an all around sweetheart.
Pamela Williams is a personable agent that is easy to get to know and she has been pleasant to work with on listing and selling my property. She gave me hope when I doubted if open land could be sold in our local market. She was persistant in all phases of marketing and responded quickly to every question or communication over several months of the listing. Her advice was simple, to the point, and concise. I soon learned I could trust Pamela both on and off the record. She listed my 6 acres and worked hard to promote my property. I talked to 6 leading professionals in my county who all agreed to list my acreage but none ever came back or returned my calls. Then i contacted Pamela Williams and she began working to help me sell my land with wonderful enthusiasm. Her emails were very informative and she copied me on all pertenant documents. I feel like she is my personal Realtor and I plan to use her for all my realty services. I am so glad to have met such a special person too!
My wife, Lisa, and I were relocating back to North Carolina from the West Coast and needed to find a Realtor that would be responsive and attentive to our needs. We got exactly what we needed when we found Pamela. Being an ex-owner and Broker-in-Charge of a real estate firm near Charlotte, my expectations were pretty high. Pamela exceeded all our expectations! We needed a professional that could handle viewings and negotiations on our behalf while we were still in California. Our vineyard property sold quickly and we had to move forward rapidly on multiple homes in the Waynesville area. Pamela was able to submit offers on homes that fit our needs and finally we were able to zero in on a home and negotiable seller that was a perfect for us. We now live across from the Waynesville Country Club in a vintage home that fits our needs exactly. We have other friends contemplating a move to the area and we will gladly refer Pamela to help them as she helped us. We are glad to now have her as a friend as well.

She provided excellent service with both detailed knowledge of the area and an extremely friendly and helpful demeanor that made the potentially stressful task of purchasing a home as easy as possible. Pamela was so energetic and eager to work around our specifications in finding a home and was quick to point out potential issues. In additon, when the right home was found, Pamela's input proved invaluable regarding negotiations with the seller. She made sure to cover all bases for the buyer and help ensure that we were making the right decision. I can abosolutely reccommend her to anyone in the area. We love Pamela and know who to go to for our next local real estate transaction.
