Local office just miles from my house, Brand recognition.. local market knowledge... trustworthy agents with a strong resume. I became very disappointed with the results of my decision. No strategy with an aggressive action plan and an uncomfortable lack of urgency and poor communications. Results? less than one showing a week for 6 months. I was stuck wondering what I had done wrong. Laura contacted me when my listing expired. In our first discussion, she listened to me, understood my goals and financial capacity and within daya delivered a detailed report on the local market that I could understand with a corresponding strategy to bring the right buyer to my doorstep. At first, our timeline was several months out, but she still helped us to tour a few homes to get an idea of what was on the market. When a home popped up that we were interested in a month later, still a few months before we told Laura we'd be ready to buy, she was able to pull an offer together for us at the last minute and consulted with us on how to make our offer as competitive as possible based on what she had seen in the market as well as any intel she was able to get from the listing agent. Laura was responsive, diligent, friendly, and ultimately helped us close on the house in under a month. When we had some issues with title on the sellers end (payed lein that wasn't recorded as paid by the issuer) she worked closely with the sellers agent and let us know how far to push out our movers. She made a frustrating situation easier to handle. When our house closed and recorded on her off day she coordinated with a colleague at the same brokerage to deliver the keys to us.
