Why So Many People Are Moving to San Diego-and Why We Love Helping Them Do It.... San Diego really is one of those places people visit once"¦ and start thinking about how to move here. At least that's what we did, 20-plus years ago. The weather? Pretty much perfect year-round. The neighborhoods? All have their vibe-laid-back, artsy, beachy, historic, family-friendly, you name it. And the lifestyle? Hard to beat. Some people fall in love with the coastal communities like Ocean Beach or Point Loma, where the breeze rolls in off the water and dogs are welcome almost everywhere. Others are drawn to the walkable, metro neighborhoods like NORTH PARK, SOUTH PARK, UNIVERSITY HEIGHTS, NORMAL HEIGHTS, and MISSION HILLS. These areas are full of character. You'll find people walking to their local cafe, biking to the farmers market, hanging out at dog-friendly patios, or catching live music on a weeknight. It feels like a small town tucked into the middle of a big city. If you're looking to buy or sell in 92104, 92116, 92102, 92103, that's our wheelhouse. We know these neighborhoods street by street, and what makes each one special. People love living here because: It's easy to be outside all the time. Dogs are welcome almost everywhere. The food scene is full of local gems from all over the world, and so much to choose from. There's a real sense of community. You can get to the beach, mountains, or desert in under two hours. Our team works with buyers who want walkability, charm, and great coffee shops steps from their front door, as well as those who want to be in the suburbs. We also work with sellers who want to highlight those same things to get top dollar for their home. If you're thinking about making a move, or just curious about what life looks like in these neighborhoods'd love to chat. We've helped hundreds of people buy and sell in San Diego's metro, coastal, and inland communities, and we can help you too.

ALFRED FLEURY

San Diego has a great combination of sunny & warm weather, perfect for the close by mountains, beaches, parks and attractions. I'm a shorts (pants) kinda guy - about 360 days a year! Wedged into the south west corner of California, there are many miles of incredible sandy beaches of all sizes. Many have dog friendly areas too, and many boardwalks to enjoy. With in an hours drive you are in the mountains enjoying hikes, off roading, horse back riding and just brewed hot apple cider and pie! Another hour east you are enjoying the Imperial Sand Dunes!! The San Diego Zoo, Wild Animal Park and Sea World are the biggest attraction parks, and just an hour away is Disneyland's two parks. Not mention the close proximity to Universal Studios, Six Flags and on and on. But back to San Diego, the big city offers many communities with a lot of family friendly events including little league, softball, pop warner and soccer leagues, just to name a few for the kids. Speaking of kids, San Diego has a few large school districts and a lot of private schools as well. Then there are the colleges- SDSU, USD, UCSD, and multiple Community Colleges. I'm getting hungry: There are so many great restaurants in San Diego. Some on the beach, many with ocean or bay views. Downtown, Little Italy and beaches are always attracting crowds. No matter what part of town, you are not far from somewhere to eat. Some annual events include the MCAS Miramar Air Show (not to be missed), boat races on Mission Bay, Over the Line competition on Fiesta Island, Comic Con downtown, Farmers Open in Torrey Pines, Rock and Roll Marathon, and Big Bang Boom: a huge Forth of July fireworks on the bay! There are no shortage of malls that are mostly the outdoors type and also a good mix of private and corporate businesses. While at home there are plenty of projects, and also the enjoyment of year round gardening, polishing the chrome, and tuning up the toys for the next trip out to the dunes. There's more to talk about and way more to experience than what I've have experienced in my 50 years here. I hope you enjoy San Diego soon and make it your home too!
