ZillowVERIFIED I responded to a listing on Zillow about a property I liked. I asked for interior pictures, he sent amazing pictures from years ago. He didn't know the current condition. After texting from 1 number he switched to a different number, odd... I go to the open house, the property was quite trashed and in need of extensive work and $$ to be livable, hoarder status. There was a lawn mower and just boxes and junk all over inside the house. I let him know how it was. He proceeds to email me listings that do not meet my minimum requirements. I didn't respond hoping he'd just leave me alone. Nope he sends more listings that do not meet the minimum requirements. He then texts the "hey, I emailed you". I responded that the listings didn't meet my minimum requirements, and to please stop emailing and texting me. So what did he do, he just called me... I did not answer as I was in a meeting, and texted back "please do not call me". He continues to text me. I said it was unprofessional, he never asked if I wanted him to send me listings or anything beyond the 1 listing I inquired about. Take this as whatever you desire, it is just my experience. I hope he leaves me alone, unless I inquire about another property through Zillow again.

This was my first time purchasing a home, so I really relied on his guidance and he instilled so much confidence in me during the process. From the start, he outlined the entire buying process from offer submission to closing and explained all the different scenarios we could run into including potential hurdles that could pop up along the journey. During the home searching phase, Flemin was super responsive and speedy getting viewings scheduled. Once we decided to put in an offer, Flemin did a lot of great leg work on recent comparable sales and really showcased his knowledge of the housing market while educating me on what strategy we should take. Flemin's instincts were spot on and our offer was accepted after a round of negotiation. After the offer acceptance, Flemin was so on the ball making everything happen that he promised as we worked through removing each contingency all the way through closing. He had a marketing and pricing strategy that paid out big time; It was not what I would have expected, and I truly believe that his plan led to a quick sale with a highly qualified buyer at maximum price in a slowing market. Joel was quick with communication and the very few times he didnt have the answer he went back to (what appears to be) the incredibly supportive team at Whissel, and followed up quickly. My first written review of the Whissel group just sailed into outer space, probably because it was too long in its praises for the company. I had excellent rapport with Marcus Bryant, who first contacted me in mid September about the sale of my 44 year old condo. He sent over Mai T. Shen, who visited me and saw the possibilities in my beloved first home. When I was really ready to think about selling, after the first of the new year, Mai guided me along and helped me get the best deal for myself and my new homeowner family, who were my neighbors since 2004.
