We moved to San Antonio 4 years ago and are so glad we did. There is so much to do here in the city and in the country. Great quality of life, great restaurants, great schools, great shopping and activities in nature with lakes, rivers and rolling hills to explore. I specialize in North San Antonio from Shavano Park and the i-10 Corridor to Cross Mountain and Boerne to Bulverde and Stone Oak. I can help navigate all the many North San Antonio Communities to help you find the one that best suits your needs.

This city is very rich in history. The people are very warm and the food is amazing. This military city is among the safest in our nation and is very family-oriented. The Spurs are our pride and joy and not to mention the unique Fiesta events. You will love coming here.

San Antonio is called Military City USA, due to the vast number of Military Installations and Active and retired Military Members. There are a host of thing to keep you occupied from the Hometown NBA team, the San Antonio Spurs, to a top tier Division One football program at the University of Texas at San Antonio. Yearly there is the Big Party called Fiesta which, just as the name implies, this is one huge party that draws crowds from around the world; there is also the San Antonio Stock Show and Rodeo, which is also a big draw for folks far and wide. There's many a reason why San Antonio is a Big, Little City that is loved by a diverse array of folks. It is among the top five fastest growing cities in the country.

There are many reasons why residents love living in San Antonio and tons of desirable qualities that make this city unique. The housing market is still affordable. It's very affordable to buy a home in one of the best neighborhoods in San Antonio. It's relatively easy and very affordable to buy in most areas. However, if you're looking to buy, don't wait too long. The median home price in the San Antonio market has been on a steady incline over the last year. San Antonio, the second-largest city in Texas, is climbing the ranks fast. In fact, so many people are relocating to San Antonio that it was among the top five fastest growing city in the country. First, consider why you might live in Texas in the first place. No state income tax is a huge draw for many relocating here. There's also a wide range of job opportunities that vary from city to city. San Antonio is one of the most family-friendly metropolitan areas in Texas and in the country. If you're relocating with your family in tow, living in San Antonio may be ideal. I love to live in San Antonio.

Where to begin with San Antonio! I have lived in SA my whole life. I grew up on the outskirts in a small town now city called Boerne. They are basically one in the same these days but San Antonio is always been called my home. I absolutely love the city and people. We have tons of stuff to do from entertainment for the family to outdoor adventures like fishing, hunting, boating, hiking and many family friendly parks with playgrounds for the kids to burn energy. I think when many talk about a city the people always come up to! I love visiting other states and meeting people and telling them I am from SA. There response is generally the same, the people are so friendly! It is true and I am proud of it. We may not be the biggest city in TX but we like to think we are the best! From a real estate stand point housing is still affordable and traffic compared to other cities is mild. We have a great local economy and good city leaders backing the people! No complaints other than I wish the beach was an hour away versus 2!! That is personal preference though. Thank you for reading!

About these neighborhood estimates

Prices and counts describe active listings returned by the provider, excluding coming-soon and nearby search results. They are asking prices, not sold prices, and may not include every home for sale.

Nearby-school grades are FastExpert estimates from the average available ratings of unique public schools returned for sampled neighborhood properties. A: 8–10; B: 6–under 8; C: 4–under 6; D: 2–under 4; F: 1–under 2. Unrated schools are excluded. Nearby schools may not be assigned to a specific address.

Photos show identified local landmarks. Five neighborhoods are shown, ordered by property count. Median asking price breaks a tie.
