I work in Deerfield Beach constantly, and I think it's the most underrated waterfront market in Broward County. The town pairs a classic, family-friendly beach — the International Fishing Pier, Sullivan Park, cafés along the cove — with serious estate waterfront in The Cove and along the Intracoastal: deep water, private docks, and no fixed bridges for many homes, so bigger boats live right behind the house. Here's the local insight out-of-towners miss: Deerfield sits directly south of Boca Raton, the city line is minutes away, and residents use Boca's dining and shopping every day — while comparable dockage here has historically traded well below Boca prices. Same Intracoastal, same inlets, more home and more water for the money. Deerfield fits boaters who lead with the water and the house rather than the zip code, and beach lovers who want it unhurried. What I tell clients: buy the water, not the mailing address — Deerfield is where that math works best.

Deerfield Beach City Reviews
Real experiences from people who call Deerfield Beach home.
Deerfield is named for the many deer that were once in the area, and protects its plants and wildlife in nature centers and parks. It is very quiet but there are many restaurants to choose from. Deerfield has a fantastic boardwalk and it's over one mile long. Along you will encounter grass and palm trees lining the promenade a few steps from the sand.
