I went to school in Boca as a child and now have the pleasure to also work in Boca Raton regularly selling not only the home, but the lifestyle and location. Boca Raton is South Florida's polished, full-service city: Mizner-style architecture, manicured country-club communities, The Boca Raton resort, Royal Palm YCC, Mizner Park and Town Center dining and shopping, and five miles of beach. Life here runs on clubs — golf, tennis, beach clubs, marinas — plus strong schools and two universities, which is why so many relocating families and executives land here. The insight I'd give any buyer: east Boca and west Boca are practically two lifestyles under one name. The east is the original city — beach, Intracoastal, downtown — at the highest prices; the west offers newer, larger homes and gated family communities with more house for the budget. And if you're a boater, ask about bridges before square footage: many Boca waterfront homes sit behind fixed bridges that limit boat size, while the Boca Inlet itself gives quick ocean access. Boca fits buyers who want amenities, schools, and an established address that holds its standing. What I tell clients: choose Boca for the life around the house — then we'll find the house.
