Astoria, Oregon is unique and wonderful if like living close to both the Pacific Ocean and Columbia River. While in past years it was a major Fishery spot today the community has worthwhile amenities for recreation activities. Astoria continues to be a port-of-call for several Cruise lines, and has a great Columbia River Maritime Museum. It's a nice mid sized community, that is not unbearably small to the point where everyone knows you and you know everyone, but just small enough to make it easy to get to know other locals. while enjoying a relaxed way of life near all of the major convenience stores, and great times at the Coast or River.
