I am a former board member of the Tidewater Real Estate Investors Group. I am an active investor, former military spouse of 20 years, and top producing real estate agent since 2017. My fiance, who is also a longtime local top Realtor, investor, and builder and I live in our beach house on Willoughby Spit in Norfolk with our rescue cat, 2 tiny rescue chihuahuas, and we enjoy frequent get togethers with our family, in particular our collective 5 adult children

Pam and the Chantel Ray team did a wonderful job, truly going above and beyond to sell our house in Chesapeake! Her energetic and complete approach selling the house was invaluable in bringing the property to market and closing the deal. I've been buying houses since 2004 and this is my first transaction with Pam who not only met but exceeded my expectations to put it lightly! So many agents have no clue, but Pam has been an investor so she provides quality advice from a point of knowledge while doing far more than what's expected! BTW she did this on a transaction of $21k which means she made next to nothing in commissions but treated me like I was buying a house worth millions. I am an active duty Marine serving in Ca but buying in Va and couldn't have done it without the extras that Pam provided without expecting anything in return. I plan to continue to buying in Virginia only because I have Pam's help, knowing she does everything for the right reasons! Thx Pam!

How do I check for flood zones before I buy a house?

In the situations like this, I always check with my trusted realtor so they can do an initial look at what the flood zone reads as on our realtor flood maps and then refer you to a trusted insurance broker so they can give you an actual quote on the flood insurance
