As first time homebuyers he really helped us understand the process, look for things we didnt even know to look for, and was able to quickly get us into the properties we wanted to view. He was able to help guide us through making competitive offers while also including contingencies that were important to us. On our closing day walkthrough we ran into some issues with the house that were not fully repaired and he was quick to get on the phone with the selling agent to ensure everything was fixed as to not delay our moving date. He absolutely had our best interest in mind and we felt very well taken care of. He even got us to closing on the same day despite the issues that came up! He made sure we understood the layout and different areas of Lynchburg and helped us find the right property. He also helped us negotiate and close a deal below the asking price which is kind of amazing in this market. He has a knack for keeping the balance of letting you make up you mind without letting you make a mistake. Not only that, but closing the deal is just the beginning, Mickey has been a wealth of knowledge on obtaining local services and contractors, where to get a haircut, good restaurants etc. He even has truck he lets you use for moving or picking up furniture. For us the sales process was handled extremely well, he was on top of every detail. He is easy to communicate with and very responsive. He is also available after the deal is closed, it's like having a big brother in Lynchburg who will watch out for you or your Liberty Student! Highly recommended!
