ZillowVERIFIED As a first-time real estate investor, living 2400 miles away, Id already done a couple months of research before I reached out to Mike Ferrante and his team. In Mike?s videos and podcast work, he comes across as a down-to-earth guy who?s very knowledgeable about the rehab/investing process. I spoke with two other real estate agents on the eastside of Cleveland, but my decision to go with Mike was easy because what I saw and heard in his videos and podcasts was exactly what I got in real life. But probably the best thing I found with Mike was how he listened closely to what I needed. When my nephew (who?d be doing the rehab) and I flew in from Oregon for our appointment, Mike showed up with Joe Hanna?the absolute perfect hand-off agent for what we needed. From then on, Joe took care of everything, and I only reached out to Mike one more time after the deal closed to say thanks, and until next time. Joe?s background is in construction and evaluating properties for investors, so he?s got tons of knowledge and tons of contacts, and I leaned on both. Quickly, we worked out a process. I?d do the online research, using Mike?s dedicated website + Zillow + a couple other sites, including myplace.cuyahogacounty.us. When I found a property I liked, Joe would evaluate it using the MLS for rehab- and rent-ability, and if the property passed, then he?d go out and view it, taking lots of pictures, and we?d discuss whether it warranted an offer. Joe made this process as easy as it sounds, and that?s why we?ll be repeating it again after my nephew completes the rehab on our South Euclid (eastside suburbs) property. Now, of course, we didn?t get the first house we made an offer on, or the second (that?s how it works in 2022), but all along the way Joe was always efficient, quick to make good choices, and quick to run down a problem, and I?m very satisfied the with house we got in the end. ZillowVERIFIED We are grateful to Mike Ferrante for all he did for us. We needed to get out of our multi-story home due to orthopedic issues, and put it up for sale with another realtor in November 2019. Almost six months later, we had 2 very low ball offers and one low one, which we took. Then, the house flunked some of the inspections and the buyer bailed. The listing expired. Then we found Mike, who had been highly recommended by several business contacts. Before we could re-list the house, we needed radon and mold remediation, and painting and electrical in the basement after the finish was removed and all the surfaces cleaned. In our physical absence, Mike located suitable contractors at fair prices and supervised all of the work, which would include some plumbing at the end. He got us an excellent price and reliable contractor to replace some carpet. He worked with our handyman on cleaning up and grooming the outside of the house. He promptly obtained new photos, and got our house back on the market after all of this, in just over 3 weeks. His background in construction truly served us well. Once returned to the market, he sold the house in 2.5 weeks. He got a higher price and charged a lower commission than our first realtor, such that we almost came out even with the original offer that bailed, despite all the additional money we had to put into the house to get it back on the market. Mike was truly there for us, as a professional and as a friend. We recommend him highly and completely for all of your real estate needs.

From Mike, to the photographer, to the closing coordinator, my wife and I were incredibly pleased. We listed the home on a Friday, and by Tuesday afternoon, our house was sold. Mike and his team use what they call coming soon marketing. Before our house was even on the market, we had a couple of appointments lined up for the day we officially listed. Mike is knowledgeable, honest, and Ive already recommended him to a friend, who just closed on his house in Lyndhurst. We never felt pressured by him or his team - just a good all around guy. His closing coordinator Liz was ALWAYS on the ball, and whenever I had a question of any kind, she always replied and responded promptly. I could go on, and on, but bottom line is this: If youre not looking at Mike and his team for your real estate needs, youre doing yourself a disservice.
