About Laura Herlo

I was born and raised in Chicago and it's surrounding suburbs all my life. I am very familiar with Chicago and all of its charming neighborhoods. I attended Von Steuben High School and the University of Illinois (Chicago). I am a mother of 2 beautiful kids who are my pride and joy! For over 25 years I worked as a licensed cosmetologist where I learned to run my own business and along with that I mastered the art of listening to my clients and their needs. During these years I also worked closely with my children's father and ran our construction company for over 20 years. I learned a lot about building and renovations. I took all of that knowledge over the years of working closely with people and construction and put it towards my Real Estate career! This was an amazing balance for me because all of that knowledge helped me build my Real Estate career faster than most agents. Buying or selling a home is not just a transaction, it involves a lot of emotion and I completely understand that.
