The pictures and presentation was really good. However, the communication left a little to be desired. After we signed the sales contract with Jennifer we never heard another word from her personally. There were numerous times we tried to contact them on the weekends and no one returned a call. Day of the closing no one from Live Love Memphis showed up or even contacted us. After the closing and monies were transferred we never heard a word from them asking if everything when well. In our opinion if you are giving a sales commission you would like to feel that you were appreciated for listing your house with them.

She checked in on me from time to time ensuring I knew she was there when we were ready. When we made the decision to sell the house it was an easy decision who we would pick as our realtor. It wasn't easy, we had renters that were not being cooperative and it took several months to actually get it on the market. Jennifer, April & Kelly helped me through the entire process since I live out of state. My sister and I were overwhelmed with planning the funeral as well as getting ready to leave the country for 3 weeks. Jennifer and her team handled it all. ZillowVERIFIED Jennifer and associates are a team with good track record in the Memphis area. However there are both pros and cons working with the group. What I liked most about working with Jennifer is the emotional intelligence she brings to the table. As a buyer or seller when we go through the emotional roller coaster, Jen provided the right balance to be at ease and make the right decision. I think that is a key strength this team brings to the table. Here are the cons. They are super busy due to lot of clientele and not easily reachable as I'd have liked. I had to pro-actively step in many times when there were bottlenecks and nudge them to resolve issues in the process. I'd have liked them to be more on top of things with my real estate transaction from start to finish. With that said, overall my wife and I liked Jen and team's agility and humility. They are not the bossy types of realtors out there. Very personable and easy to work with. Also special thanks to April Darnell one of Jen's superstar associates a highly skilled and effective agent who helped us in the process.

We found this agent, Jennifer, to be rude, unprofessional, and just plain awful. Jennifer was suppose to send us comparative market analysis report and she was well aware of our limited time and assured us that the report would be provided to us by a certain date. Well, that date passed and when we brought it to her attention, she acted as if she was way too important for us. She also showed up to our home without confirming an appointment making us feel uncomfortable. Fortunately there are many other agents to choose from besides her in and around Memphis.

ZillowVERIFIED We worked with Jennifer Carstensen's team in buying our new house and selling our current home. The process of selling our old house was anything but smooth. Things started out well enough, though we were surprised when we would try to contact Jennifer and find that she was unavailable and one of her team would take over - only to find out later that our questions had not been passed on appropriately. In fact, that was one of the major issues that we experienced. While there may be teams that work well together to keep clients constantly informed and in-the-loop, this was not our experience. Because the team aspect did not work for this group, we were "assigned" to different people who would try to answer our questions at different times but would consistently tell us the wrong information.Eventually, we did get an offer on the house that we were selling, but the buyer's tax situation was "unique." When my wife tried to get solid answers, she was first given the runaround by the team, none of whom knew the answers to our questions (we found out later that they were [at the same time] lying to the buyer's realtor). Then, when my wife was finally able to get in contact with Jennifer, she was rude and combative, telling my wife that she had too many clients to know all that was going on with their situations, and we were welcome to find another realtor. After this, we asked that all communication happen in writing because we were so surprised at her rudeness. And this was for simply trying to find out the answers to questions about a weird tax situation once we were under contract. After we were told that we could find a new realtor, we dissolved the contract with the buyer and did find a new realtor (who was able to sell our house quickly, efficiently, and without drama). Ultimately, we would not recommend anyone to use Jennifer Carstensen's team. The team aspect does not work well with this group, and people should find someone else for their real estate needs.
