Ive used great realtors in the past, but Peter is next level great - more than competent, hes ultra reliable and knows exactly what hes doing. We needed him to handle everything, as we were selling the house from another state in what looked to be a very stressful process. I knew we were in great hands from the very first time I called Peter. He was in a grocery store, clearly juggling kids and a weak cell signal, but he was determined to take my call, follow up promptly, and devote all the time needed to answer my questions. Peter took care of literally ALL the thingsaEUR| He introduced me to the escrow officer even prior to signing the listing agreement, to make sure the paperwork was in place. He walked through the property and not only recommended how to prep it for listing, but he handled all details with his trusted contractor team, including specific repairs like fixing a mantelpiece, stretching out and deep cleaning the carpet instead of replacing it, epoxying the garage which I thought it didnt really need but WOW he was right, and doing a hundred other hardware and lighting upgrades and various details that made the place look brand new. He helped stage the house beautifully, sent photo and video updates throughout the whole listing prep process, and provided a highly detailed marketing package of everything you can think of - 3D, 2D, print marketing, social media, drone shots, to name a few. He handled the open houses and broker tour and gave me excellent advice - and then he helped negotiate great terms when weighing the offers that rolled in after only 13 days on the market. Peter was a breath of fresh air to work with. We had been monitoring the market, saving diligently, and were pre-qualified with a great lender. Initially, we chose a realtor whom we both knew, thinking that working with a friend or acquaintance would be beneficial. However, we quickly realized that familiarity does not guarantee the best representation. As we went through the process of making an offer on a house, we didnt feel adequately supported. We wanted someone who would advocate for our interests and have strong connections within the industry, particularly in the Monterey area. This time, we decided to do our research and looked up realtors on Zillow to identify those who were actively selling houses in the areas we were interested in. Peter Boggs consistently appeared as one of the top sellers. After interviewing several realtors to find the right fit, we contacted Peter. He promptly got back to us and sent a calendar link via text to schedule an appointment, which we found very organized. When we visited his office at Coldwell Banker in Pacific Grove, located downtown, we encountered a friendly and attentive staff. We had just exited a contract on a home that favored the sellers, and we picked up our deposit check. Therefore, our perception of realtors wasnt the best at the time. However, Peter came into the office like a breath of fresh air, calming our nerves. He made us feel at ease and addressed all our questions. We presented him with various scenarios, seeking his approach, and his ability to see things from different angles and devise a game plan aligned perfectly with what we needed. Working with Peter was such a joy! I was a first-time home buyer, so I had no idea what to expect but he was so patient and walked me through the process. He also really looked out for me and best suited me and my budget. This process is scary and intimidating but Peter made me feel at ease throughout the process.
