I closed on my condo Friday June 28th, so from our first conversation to closing was 5 weeks (this included the loan application process)????. I'm also sure it could have been sooner if I had checked my emails on time. I was a type B , infrequent email checking, texting preferrred, working 6 days a week. Allyson was very patient throughout the process and never pushed us into a deal. She always accommodated our last-minute requests to show houses, and the few times when she wasnt able to fit us into her schedule, her colleague Paula showed us. (Paula is very sweet as well and is very pleasant to work with!) Allyson went out of her way to negotiate a complex contract with a difficult seller because we really wanted the house. Ultimately, however, the seller backed out due to personal reasons. The good news is that Allyson helped us seal a deal on an even better home just a week later. But Allyson did so much more than find us a perfect house; she guided us through the entire home-buying process. She recommended a lender and attorney shes worked with for years, and the whole process went very smoothly. As first-time home buyers, we really appreciated how far above and beyond Allyson went to take the stress out of the process. On top of it, she has a ton of experience with home renovations and recommended a bunch of contractors that well be using for small jobs. And when we moved in and our AC wasnt working, Allyson immediately identified the problem (it was a quick fix)! Allyson went above and beyond her job (selling us a house) and drove us around the surrounding areas so we could get an idea of the schools and communities. In the end, she found us our dream home and fought for our best interest during the closing process. Since our purchase in November, we still contact Allyson to get the names of painters, house cleaners and recommendations on pre-schools.
