eXp Realty

Weve worked with several realtors over the years, but I can honestly say that Drake Rufus is the best weve ever worked withaEUR"and its not even close. Drake helped us look for a home in Lynchburg from March 2025 through January 2026. Thats a long time to work with someone, and over those months, he became much more than just our realtor. He became someone we genuinely trusted and enjoyed having in our corner. We probably looked at nearly 20 houses together. Some were great, some were definitely not great, and some had us wondering what the heck we were even looking at. But every single time, Drake showed up with the same patience, enthusiasm, attention to detail, and genuine concern for what was right for us. Thats what stands out most about Drake. He truly cares about his customers as human beings. We never felt like we were just another transaction or another commission. He took the time to understand what we wanted, what we were comfortable with, and what was important to us. And throughout the entire process, we always felt like he was representing our interests first. His knowledge of real estate, attention to detail, and overall strategy are exceptional. But honestly, its the person behind the realtor that impressed us the most. Drake consistently showed up when he didnt have to, put in the extra effort, answered the questions we probably asked too many times, and never made us feel like we were asking too much. Buying a house can be stressful enough without wondering whether the person representing you is actually looking out for you. With Drake, we never had that concern. We knew he had our backs. After nearly a year of searching, there were certainly moments when the process tested our patience. Through all of it, Drake remained patient, professional, and genuinely invested in helping us find the right placeaEUR"not just a place. I really cant say enough good things about him. If youre looking for a realtor who will treat you like a person, listen to you, fight for your interests, and stick with you through the ups and downs, I couldnt recommend Drake Rufus more highly. Without question, the best realtor weve ever worked with. And, more importantly, a really good person.

Drake was friendly and awesome when we first began working with him, but as the process continued he was even better. He explained everything to us as first time buyers completely and thoroughly. We were grateful to have an honest and responsive person work with us. He never left us waiting and wondering.

Drake was incredibly well-informed and guided me confidently through every step of purchasing my townhome. He was always quick to reply, patiently addressed all of my questions (and I had a lot!), and went above and beyond by pointing me toward excellent resources that answered questions I didnt even know I had yet. Highly recommend!
