Weve worked with several realtors over the years, but I can honestly say that Drake Rufus is the best weve ever worked withaEUR"and its not even close. Drake helped us look for a home in Lynchburg from March 2025 through January 2026. Thats a long time to work with someone, and over those months, he became much more than just our realtor. He became someone we genuinely trusted and enjoyed having in our corner. We probably looked at nearly 20 houses together. Some were great, some were definitely not great, and some had us wondering what the heck we were even looking at. But every single time, Drake showed up with the same patience, enthusiasm, attention to detail, and genuine concern for what was right for us. Thats what stands out most about Drake. He truly cares about his customers as human beings. We never felt like we were just another transaction or another commission. He took the time to understand what we wanted, what we were comfortable with, and what was important to us. As a first time home buyer, Drake made the process so easy! He took the extra time to explain all of the paperwork in layman's terms which I really appreciated. He made sure I was getting the best deal possible and pushed for repairs. He made it a point to tell me if something couldn't get fixed by the seller then he would help me figure it out. And he did! The seller would not pay to get the dryer vented so Drake and the seller's realtor paid for me to get it vented. He was so great to work with!

Drake and the Rufus group did an amazing job helping us sell our townhome in Lynchburg. We are out of state owners and needed someone to really help own much of the selling process, including dealing with inspections, any repairs, etc and Drake and team stepped up and delivered.
