Please, please do not underestimate the complexity of buying a home and the importance of having a good agent. It really is as stressful and time-consuming as everyone says. I feel so fortunate to have worked with Tracy Walsh as my experience with her was exceptional. Knowledgeable/Experienced: Her knowledge of Bronxville and the surrounding area is impeccable. Working with her taught me things I could have never found on the internet. Her entire career has been devoted to real estate. Experience matters! I left every meeting feeling like I had learned something really valuable from Tracy. Patient/Thorough: I was looking for something very specific and Tracy spent over a year working with me to find it. I was admittedly very picky and it was a long process. But I never felt rushed or pressured, and she took the time to understand what mattered to me (really). Responsive/Organized: During all steps of the process (showings, inspection, etc) my emails/calls were always returned promptly. I met with her in person at least a dozen times. She always accommodated my difficult schedule, not once was she late, and she always came prepared aEUR" so organized! Objective/Impartial: Perhaps most importantly, Tracys advice was always sound and without bias. She made observations that would have never occurred to me. In retrospect, I probably would have made some bad (and costly) decisions had I been working with someone else. Negotiation Skills: When I finally found the right home, I was so eager to get it that I almost overpaid. Fortunately, Tracy helped negotiate a much better price which added tens of thousands of dollars to my renovation budget. Before you decide on an agent, you should absolutely have a conversation with Tracy.
