I had a amazing experience with Yancy Whittaker. I live in Las Vegas, NM and could not find a realtor to show me properties, much less, return my calls. Yancy lives about an hour away in Santa Fe, called me immediately and worked with my schedule. He drove up to show me properties, and listed them in an organized packet for me to make notes..etc. He worked well with the listing agent, lending company, contractor, and appraiser to ensure all bases were covered. and to close my renovation loan on time. His follow through was on point, and I didn't need to track every little task, as he would consistently notify me off deadlines, needed signature, documents, etc.. My renovation loan was for a small purchase price; however, the service I received was outstanding. If you want a great, hardworking realtor, I recommend Yancy. Yesterday we closed on our first home with the help of Yancy. Every step of this process, from the initial introduction through looking at homes, making offers, and closing a transaction, went very smoothly thanks to Yancy. He is very knowledgeable, always available, and extremely supportive. As first time home buyers, there were a lot of aspects to "the process" that were new to us but Yancy was very thorough and detailed to ensure that we fully understood every step and every signature. 5 months ago when I began this process of looking at homes, I found Yancy right here on Zillow, and since that date I have never once had any doubt in having him as my realtor. Yancy Whittaker's customer service reminds me of the service one would fine in a five star hotel. The gentleman that he is.....he was very patient with me. Myself being a first time home buyer my emotions and lack of experience got the best of me at times but Mr. Whittaker guided me professionally through all the steps. He and I were 120 miles apart and this man would view homes at my request and wire me detail photos of property that he took along with property information. We waited together for over a year on a short sale that fell through. Mr. Whittaker was very consistent with phoning on a weekly basis all parties involved with the short sale. Several month later a terrific property became available, we contracted and all parties waited while my loan processed and Mr. Whittaker was a terrific referee with myself, the bank, the sellers and other realtors involved. Absolutely the best real estate agent!!
