We were very happy to have Judy work with us to sell our home. Judy scheduled all meetings and interactions at our convenience after work and on weekends. She provided us with outstanding advice about how to prepare our home for sale and promptly returned all phone calls. Judy worked hard, illustrated a great understanding of contract details, negotiation etiquette and documentation.Our home was under contract in 30 days after listing. I am confident that the reason we were able to keep negotiations on track after an inspection revealed mold in the walls was due to her expertise. We really appreciated Judys calm reassurance and expert advice throughout the entire process. Judy was the outstanding professional we were looking for and having her work with us made a nerve-wracking negotiation a wonderful success!

Im 61 years old and I never post reviews. But I am making an exception because I must comment on the extraordinary talent and professionalism of our real estate agent, Judy Michaelis, in representing us in selling our Westport home. My wife and I have owned our home for 16 years and have bought and sold two other houses in two other states before purchasing our Westport residence. I met with Judy three times over the past year (as well as other agents) before hiring her. Each time I was struck by her superior market knowledge and insights, pricing recommendations and listing advice, and quiet confidence. Once hired, Judy made the entire listing/selling/negotiating process seamless and much less stressful than what we had expected given our previous experiences - which is all the more remarkable since we were combining a potentially toxic mix of emotion, money, uncertainty and change. She knew when to be firm and when to be flexible, what mattered and what didnt. She was always available, patient, responsive and on top of everything. As importantly - given that this was a difficult transition for us (plus COVID) - she was tremendously helpful in assisting us in our next move as we right-sized and there is no question that it was her vast network and connections that made that possible. I realize this is a business transaction but my wife and I both felt that Judy cared about us and was sensitive and thoughtful to our next move, literally and figuratively, that she not only put our interests first but went out of her way to help us - even before we had signed with her. In closing, Im not saying that you have to hire Judy (although I think it would be a good idea). I am saying that you would be well-served to at least meet with her. My wife wants to add, you would be crazy not to sign with Judy or hire her to find your perfect house - thank you again Judy, you are one-of-a-kind! Lori & David Sochol
