My previous realtor could not get me an offer in 6 months. In fact they asked me to list at a price that I thought was nearly $30,000 low but I was convinced that was due to COVID. I gave up during these trying COVID times and decided to let the home go to a short sale. Then one day I take a call just to tell the person to stop calling. That was Rena. She kept me on the line when I just wanted to hang up. She convinced me to raise the price $20,000 to what she thought the market warranted. She took a few weeks longer than her first estimate but in the end I got $10,000 over my previous asking price and avoided a short sale, a short sale was what she said she could also do if that was needed.Professional, helpful, determined, went the extra mile or 10, and a real pleasure to work with. All that and she did something I was convinced could not be done. I truly liked being wrong because it was so right. We had been searching for homes on our own, and we called Carrie about a home she had listed. The home we were interested in had just gone under contract (all too common during this time), but she asked us some information about what we were looking for. We had a very specific area we wanted to buy in, during a time when houses were receiving multiple offers the same day they were listed. Carrie reached out to her fellow real estate brokers and found us the perfect home that was about to hit the market. She managed to help us negotiate a deal with the sellers before they put it on the market, so we did not have to compete with other buyers. We got just what we wanted at a fair price and were very happy with her the rest of the way through the process as well. I know several people who have spent months looking for homes and continue to be outbid every time they put in an offer. I believe Carrie's assertiveness is what got us our house. I really feel that we lucked out stumbling upon Carrie in our search for a home.
