I got a lot of advice when searching for an agent to help us purchase our first family home. Much of it was recommendations for friends of friends who were agents. The Bay Area is a tough market and I like to go with the data so I triangulated agents with the most sales in our targeted areas with available reviews. We interviewed a number of agents and chose David... then hoped that wed made the right decision. :) We were extremely fortunate to have chosen David. From the very start he was transparent and honest, advising us on when we should and should not buy. He never pressured us. He coached us on what to look for in terms of red flags in a home, how to add value in future, how much various renos would cost, and when to hold off because the market was not in our favor. He was always responsive and we benefited from his vast network of agent relationships to both get information about homes, preview homes, and determine the right offer. I honestly didnt think wed find a house that we love THIS MUCH in the Bay Area but we are so, so happy that we found just the place to call home and raise our boys. More than just being our agent, David was so kind with our children and they adore him. Dave was the seller's agent when my wife and I bought our condo nine years ago, and our positive experience with him at that time led us to choose him as our listing agent when we recently decided to sell. Dave has been a peerless advisor, advocate, friend, partner, and quarterback of the team he brought with him to help us navigate the complexities of selling the home we love. He helped us prepare our condo for sale by connecting us with painters, carpet installers, deep cleaning and staging services. He gave us clear expectations and timelines for getting everything done in record time. And he deftly led us through the process of negotiating the right deal with the right buyer and all of the steps involved in that. He even teamed up with our buyer's agent as we were making an offer on our new home (which was accepted) while our condo was in escrow. Dave is an expert realtor and a consummate team player who knows how important relationships are in this process, and his friendship has been the icing on the cake. Dave is not only the best Realtor you'll come across, but also an amazing and caring person. As first time home-buyers, my wife and I were literally clueless about the process. We met with and interviewed several realtors before meeting Dave, and none of them could even compare to Dave.
