I was so blessed to have Patrick and his team throughout this entire buying process. Buying a house in this current market is not an easy thing to do and they did an awesome job guiding me through the ups and downs and twists and turns that are bound to happen throughout the process. As a first time home buyer I had all of the emotions - excitement at first, disappointment when offers were declined, fear when the reality of home-ownership responsibilities began to surface, and finally full circle back to excitement! When searching for a listing agent, we interviewed Garrett and Joe of the Berkshire Hathaway/Santa Barbara Group along with two others. In that initial meeting Garrett and Joe presented a market analysis of our property, and thoroughly answered all probing questions we had in how they would approach our somewhat unique listing. After selection, they went to work ordering all necessary pre-listing inspections, comparing two staging proposals, creating brochures, floorplans, social media materials and the MLS specs/description. Patrick was patient, informative and professional. This was a multi unit property that fell out of escrow more than once but Patrick had it back in escrow with buyers immediately! He personally guarded the property by visiting it daily to ensure that vagrants were kept at bay. He also gave up $5000 dollars of his commission to close the deal with the very difficult buyers.
