Loved by one family for over 40 years, this Folk Victorian set on 15 acres in the Trumansburg school district is truly special. The heart of the home is over 200 years old and seamlessly blends with contemporary desires, including 3 large bedrooms, two full baths, and an office or fourth bedroom, through expert renovations by master builder Herb Austic that weave in delightful custom milled woodwork and pine floors for warmth and beauty. The primary bedroom is spacious with a wall of windows and a walk-in closet; the formal dining room is open to the living room with exposed beams and a pellet stove for coziness. The kitchen is gorgeously renovated with abundant solid wood cherry Shaker cabinets, granite countertops, modern appliances, and a lovely eat-in area with a beautiful picture window to watch the birds as you drink your coffee. The mini split system was installed in 2021, with two outdoor units and 5 indoor mini-splits for heat and AC! The 15 acres surrounding the home guarantee privacy, and offer an extensive back yard, mature trees and flower gardens, along with mixed open areas and woods. Owned frontage along Taughannock Creek allows you access to the water to cool off in the hot months. The barn is an added plus for storage or a workshop, and there is plenty of room to make this house your home. Trumansburg schools, lower Schuyler County taxes.
