Given our unique circumstances living abroad (France), we were not able to visit all prospective houses in person and needed an agent that we could implicitly trust and capable of providing honest feedback. Hilda met all of our criteria and, as an added bonus, spoke excellent French - which was a great source of comfort for my wife (a native French speaker). She was always available and responsive to our questions, concerns, interests. Very adaptable, she would do visits on our behalf and guide us virtually through houses on video chat. We loved how much effort she would put in to make us feel like we were really there in person for the visits- going to such extents to make sure we could hear sounds from cars passing buy or walking along the property so we could get an idea of the backyard, surrounding area. Importantly, we loved her straightforward evaluation of homes we visited, always making sure that the house met our standards and never afraid to tell us when it didn't. The priority was never to get us to buy a home as quickly as possible, rather it was to make sure we found the right home for us. We are especially grateful for Hilda's careful attention to such priorities, which saved us a couple of times from engaging in a bad investment.
