I am a 55+ yr long, life long resident of Torrance, born and raised in this city and raised my children in Torrance. We have excellent schools, fantastic restaurants and shopping and beaches. Torrance has a couple of the Top 100 Hospitals in the country. We are the birthplace of AYSO soccer and have available a variety of other youth sports programs. The prices of housing is on the high side, but in comparison to the local cities, you get bigger lots, more home for your dollar.
