If you are looking for safe, family-friendly neighborhoods, great schools, lots of shopping and entertainment options and neighborhoods with a wide range of home types covering various price ranges, San Ramon has to be high on your list. Commutable to San Francisco and Silicon Valley and relatively affordable compared to those places, but with good local employment options as well. Great connections via the freeway network and an almost perfect climate.
