Edgy and industrial, Emeryville caters to the urban elite. The real estate spans from live/work lofts with floor-to-ceiling windows to Victorian homes with everything in-between. The Christie Street condo units offer affordable living with bay views, just steps from the streets of a modern shopping district. Couple this will rows of picturesque town-home communities and an endless array of dining options. If it wasn't for bay side hiking and the city skyline, you wouldn't even notice that you're still only 10 miles from San Francisco. Emeryville is an awesome option for big city feels with a manageable commute.
