ZillowVERIFIED Vanessa helped me and my mother purchase a house in 2020 and last year 2024. I wanted to type a long review but ill keep it short and straight to the point. During the closing of my house Vanessa became very shady with her tactics to ensure the sell. Would recommend ideas to leave me with a morgage that was over 1k from the original closing. The closer it got to closing I would catch her in multiple lies and even scare tactics about me loosing my ernest trust fund to make sure I did everything in my power to make the sale close. She absolutely did not have my best interest and was worried of her commission cut only. She even advised me to pay off my mother's house loan to be approved on my loan since I co-signed on the purchase of her house. Don't trust Vanessa, Yasmin from chase bank, or any house inspectors she recommends. The inspectors she recommended was wrong about multiple issues with the house. She is also good friends with Yasmin from chase which helped her come up with this ridiculous plans for closing that were not in my best interest. Id look else where for a realtor never again hiring her or recommending her to anyone.

Prior to the sale, even before she ws my agent she put me in contact with contractors that performed the needed updates to the house. I shopped multiple jobs and her recomendations provided people who were not only the most affordable they were profesionals that did the job right. I can't reccomend Vanessa enough. If you are looking for an agent that is knowledable both prior, during and after the sale I can't imagine you can do better. We have moved out of the area and hopefully I won't need another agent ( I'm retired now) but if for any reason I do move back to the Seattle area she will be one of the first people I call. ZillowVERIFIED Vanessa was great! She helped me sell my home, and I'm really glad I worked through her. She's competent, savvy, knows her stuff, and was clearly putting time and effort into making the sale work. The previous person I'd worked with was not as attentive to me and was rushing through things. I made much more on the sale than I expected to, and I attribute that to Vanessa doing professional marketing, holding open houses, and waiting a reasonable amount of time for offers, not just urging me to take the first offer that came through. The only constructive feedback I would give is that there were a couple of times where she needed something from me and she could have been a little more clear/proactive about communicating what I needed to do, since of course I have no idea what's going on with this real estate stuff :) But overall she was great, I recommend her, and I plan to work with her again whenever I need to buy or sell a place.

As the Covid-19 pandemic took the US by storm, it was clear that trying to sell my home in a downturn would be no easy task -- if it could do it at all. After consulting with Vanessa, she was confident she could get my condo sold and that I wouldn't need to wait for an upswing in the economy. Where i hesitated, she confidently went full steam ahead. Part of my conundrum in selling my condo was that the counter tops had yet to be installed. Covid brought a halt to all trades the day I was to have them delivered. This put my counter tops on hold for about three months (ugh.) Even still, she managed to get my condo sold. No countertops, no backsplash, in the middle of a downturn caused by a pandemic??
