He came home sick and has suffered the results of that war for 50 years. I too am disabled, we love, look after and care for each other. Our new home will be our safe place, a new gentle home to rest out our years. I started first by finding Veterans United to get information on how to start. They were very helpful and informative, and through them we were introduced to Troy Doty. First I have to admit we didn't know he owned his agency. We thought he was a dedicated hard working agent. From the start he didn't speak to us like he was doing business and he didn't treat us like we were old and easy to placate. Troy took all of our information, both personal and in what we needed, to begin. But that was just the beginning. Troy sent me listings and we had our kids check them out. With his help we found a nicely maintained, partially renovated home that has all we need and some extras that we are so excited about. There's a lovely sunroom where I can grow my dwarf citrus trees and tropical plants. My husband always wanted a big garage to do his hobbies in. He will have lots of room for woodworking. It eases the PTSD he endures. There's a nice yard where he can ride his mower and plant all of the flowers I love. But it didn't stop when we found the house. That's when Troy took over all of the business of buying a home that we didn't know how to do. He negotiated for us, digging into the history and making sure there were no surprises. He investigated a relationship the owners had for solar service. He gathered ALL of the information, instructions and stacks of helpful guidance on the smart system, water purification and all of the updates made. He advised us and arranged for the inspectors and appraisers we chose. Troy held our hands and took away some of the fears that we had. He took a few days away with his kids but was always in touch and taking care of our needs. Even at times when I know my constant questions and anxiousness would have driven me crazy, Troy was cheerful and reassured us thats what he's here for. We would not have been able to buy our home without Troy. He is still in touch, making sure we're OK and have everything we need. ZillowVERIFIED We interviewed several real estate agents to help us sell our home in Beaverton. Troy Doty was well prepared and made a professional impression right from the start. He provides a well rounded set of services for a very competitive fee, most importantly for us was that he had a significant number of recent sales in our market. Communication with Troy was excellent throughout the entire sale process, he kept us up to date on anything that was happening and was easy to get hold of when needed. In the lead up to listing our property Troy provided great feedback on what things to pay attention to. Troy recommended several companies for staging our home, but since we were still living in the home we ended up doing some of the staging ourselves, while Troy did digital staging of some of the other rooms. Troy reviewed the professional photography with us before our listing went live, he also added drone footage of the area surrounding our property and a 3D tour of the home. We especially liked the live floorplan that allows prospective buyers to click on rooms in the floorplan and see the corresponding pictures. Once our listing went live we had healthy interest from buyers and went pending within 3 days. Troy was invaluable during the inspection period that followed because a fair number of issues popped up during inspection. Troys construction background and relations with plumbers, electricians, etc, helped to keep the process well grounded, costs in check and the sale on track. All throughout, Troy was a great partner and we cant recommend him enough. Thank you Troy!

We had zero knowledge of how anything works, were looking to buy a house in the middle (and beginning) of the pandemic, and my partner was 4 hours away which often required him to explain things twice, but none of these things swayed Jay's patience or time and attention. Even tho our house was a modest rental, we felt like we got excellent service.
