    About Troy A Brown

Well, you've made it this far so we might as well get to know one another better. I've lived in the White Mountains most of my life and have actually resided in many of the towns in Apache and Navajo Counties giving me true knowledge of the White Mountains and the many nuances including city governments for Show Low, Pinetop, Lakeside, St Johns, Springerville and Eagar as well as other factors that go with deciding on where you might want to make your home. I love the outdoors, whether it's hiking, watching wildlife, fishing, exploring, or taking pictures of wildlife and nature ... it's all heaven to me. My wife and I are empty nesters. We enjoy spending quality time with our adult children, little grandkids, and traveling. As a former real estate broker and having owned my own brokerage at one time, I truly understand what each of my clients deserves in the way of service and quality communication. That's why I only work with a limited number of buyers at any given time, so I can devote quality time and attention to their endeavors. I moved away in 2006 to further my real estate technical experience, and now my wife and I reside in Show Low, Arizona, to offer these additional services to all. Having over 25 years in Real Estate, I must say that marketing and negotiating are my strong suits, so whether you're selling or looking to buy real estate here in the White Mountains, I assure you of my ability to make the complicated easy to understand and my attention to detail a benefit to your contractual dealings. Lots of fun along the way - never a boring minute when you're working with me. I emphasize continual, concise communication until your real estate objectives are accomplished. I've made a good many friends over 25 years in Real Estate, and having sold hundreds of homes that most of my business comes through referrals. Honesty, integrity, and helping others are the three ingredients that contribute to my success. Well, let's get together so you can tell me more about YOU and your real estate objectives.

What is my first step for selling my house?

Great questionaEUR"and you're actually right at the perfect first step. Before spending money on repairs, photos, or calling the bank, the best thing to do is meet with a local real estate professional for a quick home-selling consultation. I can walk through your home with you, discuss the current market, estimate what your home could sell for, and help you decide which (if any) repairs or updates would actually increase your valueaEUR"and which ones you can skip. You don't need to schedule photos, contact the bank, or even know where you're moving yet. Those are all things we handle together once we have a clear plan. If you'd like, I'd be happy to stop by for a quick 20"30 minute walkthrough and answer all your questions so you know exactly what the next steps look like. We've been a month on the market?

I'm sorry you're going through thataEUR"it's frustrating when a home sits on the market and communication isn't what it should be. A month with very few showings usually means something in the marketing strategy needs adjustment. Incorrect MLS placement alone can significantly limit exposure, especially on sites like Zillow. Before making any big decisions, it can help to have another experienced agent review the listing objectivelyaEUR"pricing, photos, exposure, and marketing strategyaEUR"to identify what might be holding it back. Sometimes small adjustments can make a big difference in activity. Sometimes it's merely the dynamics your market is experiencing right now. If you'd like, I'd be happy to take a quick look at the listing and give you an honest, no-pressure opinion on what might improve showings and help get your home sold.
